Consistency

- 5 mins a day instead of 2 hours on Friday

I believe it’s easy to understate the power of consistency.

In our businesses, it’s easy to let a daily activity pile up until we “have time” on Friday afternoon . . .

So we spend 2 hours writing or blogging or prospecting . .

When the world is dead because entrepreneurs take Friday afternoon off . . .

But we’d get SO MUCH better results by just . . .

Writing a simple post for 5 minutes a day.

or writing one page per day in our book and in 200 days we’d have a 200 page book . . .

Instead of writing furiously for 12 hours once a month.

Think about big tasks in your business that are super important.

How could you make that big task into a daily consistent “bite” and make it not only consistently easy to achieve, but also actually get results without burning out?

Here’s an idea of how to do it:

1) Choose a big task that you want to achieve

2) Break it into daily consumable chunks

3) Put it on your calendar at a certain time, on repeat in your calendar so NO ONE books time during that time.

This daily activity is the ONLY think you do between 9:30 and 10 AM, for example

4) If you miss a day . . that’s okay.

5) If you miss 2 days . . find a way to make it up - put it back on your calendar at 2 PM today

6) Celebrate your weekly results.

7) Do it long enough to get a result (maybe a month) and then reflect on if it was better than cramming for 12 hours?

I hope this has been really helpful.

It’s designed to simplify the process of consistency.

It doesn’t need to be “my way".”

Take what you want out of what I wrote, pick and choose, and become consistent!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this “business advice”
